BlueMelon adds read-only IPTC and XMP support

From now on, BlueMelon can read IPTC and XMP information from your images and use this information to set titles, descriptions and keywords if you do not submit your own values for them. If you use BlueUpload Anywhere or the advanced java uploader, you will
see the data already displayed in the uploader. If you use a different upload option, such as importing from other sites, the flash uploader or the simple uploader, the data will be read automatically when your image is processed unless you submit your own data.

In the future, we plan to add the feature of saving your titles, descriptions and keywords into your images' metadata when you download your images from BlueMelon.

Export your BlueMelon photos to Flickr

Flickr users can now easily export their photos to Flickr - there is no need to upload your photos twice. When you open an album and click the "Share" button, you can select the new entry "Export to Flickr" which will open the export panel.

When the panel is opened, you will be given the option and, after having logged in, you can select the photos from your current album at BlueMelon that you want to export to Flickr. Having chosen the photos, you can either create a new Flickr album or export them to an existing one.

After confirmation, the export starts and you are shown the progress. When the process of exporting has been completed, you can simply close the panel and enjoy not having had to upload your photos twice.
